Village Rising was founded on a simple, powerful idea: that a connected community is a thriving community. We bridge the gap for families who need support but may not qualify for traditional aid, creating a network of neighbors helping neighbors.
Our work is rooted in integrity, service, and the belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to flourish. We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to making a tangible impact.
How We Serve
We offer a range of life building programs designed to meet low-to-moderate income families, unique living socioeconomic, financial and housing needs, we provide specific and comprehensive tools for sustainable growth.

VR Childcare and Resource Center
Our program provides a nurturing, educational environment for children while offering parents a dedicated hub for essential family support and community resources. By combining high-quality childcare with access to professional workshops and advocacy services, we empower the entire family to grow and succeed together.
Housing Stability
We facilitate permanent housing solutions by offering families a comprehensive suite of resources ranging from legal mediation to personalized budgeting workshops designed to prevent eviction. This intervention-based approach addresses the systemic causes of housing insecurity, ensuring that vulnerable households have a stable foundation for professional and personal growth.

Connecting young people with positive role models in the community to foster skills, confidence, and a vision for their future.
Internship and Workforce Development
The Internship and Workforce Development program empowers youth by connecting them with experienced community role models. Participants develop essential workplace skills, build confidence, and explore career pathways that support long-term success and personal growth.
